FRESHWATER

This is my house. It was built in 1959 and follows many modernist principals in terms of style and layout. When we bought it in 2007 it required a serious freshen up. The carpet was removed and floor boards polished and the 80s kitchen and bathroom were replaced with plywood and laminate cabinetry that pays homage to its original 50s character. The exterior geometry of the facade was enhanced with a black, white and red colour scheme.
